  3. 125 ml Agua de la cocción

  5. 7 g Sal

  9. Aceite de Girasol
  10. Azúcar para rebozar

  1. Pelamos y cortamos la calabaza en dados grandes y la hervimos con agua que las cubra durante unos 20 minutos aproximadamente, hasta que esté blanda. La escurrimos reservando el agua de la cocción.
  2. Chafamos la calabaza con un tenedor hasta conseguir una pasta sin grumos. Disolvemos la levadura de panadero con los 125 ml. de agua de la cocción de la calabaza. Removemos bien.
  3. Ponemos en un bol la calabaza, el agua con la levadura, el azúcar, el agua de azahar, la ralladura de naranja y la sal. Removemos bien y batiremos un poquitín con una batidora eléctrica. Se puede hacer con un batidor manual.
  4. Añadimos la harina tamizada poco a poco y removemos hasta que esté todo bien integrado. Dejamos reposar la masa durante unos 15 minutos tapada con papel film y a temperatura ambiente.
  5. Calentamos abundante aceite de girasol en una sartén honda o bien en una freidora eléctrica. Cuando el aceite esté bien caliente mojaremos los dedos con aceite frío y cogeremos un trozo de la masa que es bastante blanda y le daremos forma redonda con un agujero en el centro (ver el vídeo)
  6. Damos la vuelta a los buñuelos y una vez fritos los pondremos encima de un papel absorbente y antes de que se enfríen los rebozaremos con azúcar en grano.
